As part of their fiction writing process, our students are tasked with creating an ending to a story they have already analyzed.
This exercise allows them to demonstrate not only their writing skills but also their understanding of the story’s elements and style.
Here, you will find two excellent samples produced by our seventh graders.
The creature that he had looked for a long time at was now standing in front of him, and he had to fight.
“I have been looking for you, and I have to fight you now.”
Every second, he became more scared. A fun story had become a horrible reality. It was the scariest moment of his life.
A boy, whose dream was to meet the beast, had now found his biggest fear. The beast got closer to Phoenix every second, and its hideous appearance made Phoenix even more scared.
Once the beast was just a few centimeters away from him, he thought he was going to die.
“If I’m meant to die here today, I will, but have I gone through a lot just to give up? No, I’m not.”
With a face of fear and torn, dirty clothes that showed what he had been through, he started fighting.
That day, Phoenix died bravely in front of the beast. Even though he couldn’t tell the story himself, if you go there, you will find objects Phoenix left before dying, which shows how brave he was and all he did to survive until the last moment.
