Promoting reading and having fun are two things Dr. Seuss had very clear. For years we have been learning to read and increase our vocabulary while reading Dr. Seuss’s books. This year we had the opportunity to celebrate his day on March the 3rd. Our preschoolers and 1st graders had the chance to immerse in a reading adventure directed by every age group.
Nursery students enjoyed the reading of “Red fish, blue fish”. Prekinder students imagined new worlds through the reading of “Hop on top”. Kinder students had lots of fun reading “The foot book” that challenged their cutting skills. In Transition our beginning readers were entertained while reading “The ABC book”. And finally, our first graders were delighted by the reading of “The cat in the hat”. Reading is just an excuse to have fun and at CAS we teach our kids to learn to read, develop their imaginations, and learn about morality and character building too!
