Meet a real superhero

Parents, relatives, friends, teachers, doctors or anyone has the opportunity to be heroic in a specific moment of their life. We can all be recognized by our courage or ability and we can be fearless and powerful like a hero.

We are definitely surrounded by heroes and that’s what first graders found out throughout the development of their project “SUPERHEROES”. The values, skills and learning experiences held during this year were used to show their families that everyone who does something heroic for the benefit of others, aim to change the world and give a good example to the society is a true hero.

Parents, relatives, teachers, doctors, or anyone has the opportunity to be heroic in a specific moment of their life. We can all be recognized by our courage or ability and we can be fearless and powerful like a hero.

All these ideas enriched students’ productions which were done in different subject areas such as Spanish, Motor Skills, Math, ICT and Language Arts. Students showed their understandings by writing a story describing their superhero adventure in Spanish and Language Arts. They also talked about their favorite superhero and what made him special, linked the topic within the concepts taught in Mathematics, gave their personal touch to a magazine created in their ICT class and decorated their book cover using different motor skills techniques.

We had so much fun and felt proud of their performance.
