As part of their fiction writing process, our students are tasked with creating an ending to a story they have already analyzed. This exercise allows them to demonstrate not only their writing skills but also their understanding of the story’s elements and style. Here, you will find two excellent samples produced by our seventh graders.
So, he convinced himself to fight against this creature, but he needed help from someone or something. He had a big weapon with sharp sides that made him powerful.
“What have you been looking for?” said the girl who saw Phoenix desperately searching for something.
“I need help. How can I fight that gigantic creature on my own?”
“I can help you. Just call my name when you need help. I’m Alana; nice to meet you.
Phoenix went back towards the monster and saw its next move, which would leave him dead.
“Alana!”
Suddenly, a second monster appeared and pushed the first monster away from Phoenix. This second monster was stronger and bigger than the first one. Both monsters started fighting until the second monster won. Astonished, Phoenix saw Alana transformed into a normal girl again and asked no questions.
This is my job. Each week, a new monster returns to this tunnel. Wow! Run away from here before you risk being the next monster.
