EXPLORE THE WONDERS OF “PARQUE JAIME DUQUE”: A DAY TO DISCOVER!
As part of the closing of their classroom project, Transition students had an unforgettable experience during their educational field trip to Parque Jaime Duque. While touring the Wakatá Biopark, Kids were more than excited to see some of the animals they had studied in class, like the titi monkey, the jaguar, and the danta. Their joy at spotting these animals was evident at every step!
The adventure did not end when seeing the animals, it continued with a puppet story and a small face painting activity that taught them about the actions taken in the park to protect the species.
Learning is a long–lasting experience, our CAS early years students learned about the animals’ diets among other interesting facts that contribute to the understanding of their way of living.
The experience would not have been the same without sharing with classmates, so a very special snack made with ingredients like those animals are fed with in the park were part of the menu. It was a day full of learning, fun, and ecological awareness that everyone will fondly remember.
