Today, March 17th, Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated in many parts of the world. On this occasion, our Preschool students attended a puppet show at the Media Center to learn about the nature of this celebration.
The children enjoyed a play starring a rabbit, a rat and a Spanish speaking helper, who talked about the meaning of this day for the Irish, their traditions, and the activities people engage in on this date.
Our friends, the rabbit and the rat, emphasized that on this day, we should be kind and share with those around us, helping one another.
The children were very attentive, engaged, and learned the true essence of this celebration.
What a wonderful opportunity to make learning English fun while discovering the culture of English-speaking countries!
