Last Wednesday, May 7th, our Preschool section held the first awards ceremony of the year with our little ones being recognized for their outstanding performance during the first term. The event was truly special, featuring a creative puppet show that played an active role in presenting the different award categories and diplomas.
The categories included: School Adaptation, English Speaker (Preschool), Best Communicator (1st grade), Routines and First Steps Toward Autonomy (Preschool), Self-Management (1st grade), Social Skills (Preschool), Best Partner (1st grade), Meaningful Progress, Natural Curiosity & Exploration (Preschool), Meritorious Performance, and Academic Excellence.
All of our students received recognition to highlight their dedication and hard work throughout the term.
Our puppet characters—Spotty, Panchito the Pig, Blanquita the Rat, Burrito, Doggy, and Conejita—clearly explained each category to the students and helped them understand the reason behind their awards. The audience was also delighted by a performance from our dance group and a musical presentation by one of our Transition students.
It was the perfect opportunity not only to celebrate our students’ achievements during the first term, but also to honor the dedication and daily efforts of our teachers and teacher assistants.
