It all started with a question: “Can technology do this for me?” At our Smart Things workshop, students found that the answer is a resounding “yes”.
Students from 5th to 9th grade stepped into the world of innovation, building and coding with Arduinos. With support from 10th grade leaders, students connected real sensors — LEDs, sonar, and more — and programmed them using C++.
The day culminated in a collaborative masterpiece: a smart house that responded to its environment with precision. Lights react! Alarms sound! Every room comes to life!
This wasn’t just a workshop. Indeed, when creativity meets code, the possibilities are endless.
