During the month of August, students actively participated in sports sessions marking the end of the second academic quarter. These sessions, organized by the Physical Education Department, offered various recreational and athletic activities through which students applied the skills acquired throughout the term. In addition to promoting physical activity, these experiences fostered peer interaction, strengthened bonds of collaboration and teamwork, and provided valuable opportunities to support students’ emotional and mental well-being.
Within this framework, the second Play Day of the year featured a special cultural segment dedicated to kite flying in celebration of the traditional “Month of the Wind.” This activity not only honored a meaningful element of cultural heritage but also offered students a creative and engaging way to connect with their roots. High school students also enjoyed a recreational outing at the Cafam facilities, where they engaged in activities beyond their regular school setting. This experience allowed them to explore new forms of recreation, reinforcing both their sense of autonomy and their connection to the school community. All of these initiatives reflect the institution’s ongoing commitment to providing healthy and enriching environments that promote a balance between physical and mental well-being. By offering opportunities for recreation, cultural engagement, and physical activity, we continue to support the holistic development of our students.
