Last Friday, August 15th, our preschool students and teachers came together to celebrate English Day. English Day was a joyful event filled with surprises and engaging activities that made our students, using English, the true stars of the day.
The celebration began with a hilarious play, The Three Little Super Pigs, performed by our self-contained team. This was followed by an exciting English Song Festival, where each class proudly sang on stage with their classmates. Transition students showcased their skills in a lively “Spelling Bee contest”, and everyone enjoyed exploring Spotty’s Vacation Gallery, which highlighted English-speaking countries such as Australia, the United States, England, and Canada.
Throughout the day, our preschool students not only learned new ways to use English but also had a wonderful time. The activities highlighted both language and culture, creating a meaningful experience that promoted communication skills and strengthened their connection with the English language.
