On October 3rd, our school came alive with the English Day, a dynamic celebration centered around the theme of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Students from grades 6 to 11, along with teachers, turned the campus into a space full of music, culture, and excitement.
Each activity was designed and led by students themselves, who created interactive stands, music-themed games, and cultural showcases that paid tribute to the legacy of rock. The event was a true collaboration between learners and educators, offering an extraordinary experience that blended fun with educational value. Alongside different presentations from each grade, offering music, singing, and an immersive soundtrack of different instruments, such as guitars and drums, that did not stray from this genre of music.
The English Day was more than just entertainment; it was an opportunity to understand different cultures through such a fantastic way: music. By engaging with the history of rock ‘n’ roll, students boosted their knowledge and language via lyrics that showed artistic expression and perspectives from different eras of rock ‘n’ roll history, making this celebration both impactful and unforgettable.

After a long wait, a very special day arrived at school: the English Day. This year, there was a very different but incredible theme: rock and roll. All the students celebrated it with a variety of activities and much excitement.
Grades six through eleven, using their intelligence and creativity, completed the activities which involved essential rock and roll characters, rock throughout the years, and much more. We also played various games to learn more about this incredible theme.
Beyond the singing performances and incredible presentations, what made this day unforgettable were the moments we shared: the laughter, the energy, and the effort everyone put into each activity and game creating lasting memories. We not only learned about the history and culture of rock and roll, but also about collaboration, confidence, and expression.
English Day was a special experience that brought learning and fun together in the best way. We explored the world of rock and roll while improving our English skills. This combination of music and language made the day educational and fun, showing us that learning can happen in creative and enjoyable ways.
