On Friday, February 13th, our school celebrated Saint Valentine’s Day in many meaningful ways. Our preschoolers had the chance to reflect on the values of friendship, empathy, and gratitude by reading the story “The Day It Rained Hearts”. Students enjoyed the read-aloud of this heartwarming story that talks about how small yet powerful actions– greeting one another, saying “thank you,” sharing smiles, and offering warm hugs—can make a meaningful difference in our daily lives.
To express their feelings, students created beautiful handmade crafts to take home and share with their parents. Others designed heartfelt cards, conveying their love through thoughtful drawings and meaningful words.
This celebration served as a sweet reminder that love is found in the little things we do for others—and a perfect opportunity to fully embrace our bilingual environment at CAS.
