With the purpose of encouraging oral communication in English and empowering our students in Transition, the teachers of this grade level have implemented a strategy called “The Star of the Week”.
Each week, one student will share a little more about their life in a simple, meaningful, and fun way — all in English! While students work through their early written production, some mistakes are bound to happen as a natural part of learning. This special moment not only strengthens their speaking skills but also helps them build confidence and a deeper connection with their classmates.
Through this initiative, we celebrate every child’s uniqueness and support their journey in learning a new language with joy and pride.
