On August 1st, the CAS FAMILY RUN took place, one of the most traditional races in our school community. The event brought together a huge number of participants divided into three categories: Beginners Family (1.5 km), Intermediate Family (3.5 km), and Advanced Individual (4.5 km). From the first routes, we saw something beyond a competition: families full of joy, sharing, supporting, and enjoying every step of the way.
As soon as we started the warm-up, the enthusiasm filled the air. At the starting line, between smiles and nervousness, we listened to “Ready, set, go,” marking the beginning of an amazing day full of effort and self-improvement. What started with enthusiasm soon transformed into a real challenge. Ground trails, racing heartbeats, and heavy legs proved the runners’ resistance. However, each obstacle became an opportunity to create beautiful moments, where family support became the reason to reach the finish line.
In this edition, the ECO-SCHOOL program was strengthened, aligning with the sustainable development Goals, especially SDG #3: Good Health and Well-being. We also spread a message about the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and caring for the environment. As a symbol of this important connection between humans and nature, every participant received a plant as a reminder that breathing, running, and living better depends on the care we give to our planet.
