Transition project Discovering Colombia: A Land of Wonders came to a joyful close with a celebration full of learning, pride, and family fun. Students invited their families to explore four interactive stations. The first one was all about traditional games like El puente está quebrado, Ponchados, and Escondidas, filling the school with laughter and excitement.
The journey continued in our Wax Museum, where students proudly represented Colombian icons in sports, music, arts, and engineering. At the third station, they shared their knowledge about endangered animals and the importance of protecting them. Finally, parents discovered the students’ own creations, from lapbooks to beautiful crafts made in class.
Families were delighted and impressed by the children’s creativity, speaking skills, and commitment. It was a heartwarming way to celebrate their efforts and the wonders of Colombia together.
