As part of their Space Project, our first grade students enjoyed an exciting visit to the Planetarium of Bogotá. During this unforgettable field trip, students had the opportunity to explore the universe, learn about planets and stars, and participate in interactive activities inspired by the wonders of space.
Throughout the visit, students explored different exhibitions and discovered fascinating facts about life on Earth, the Solar System, galaxies, constellations, and space technology. The experience sparked their curiosity and enthusiasm, encouraging them to ask thoughtful questions about science and outer space.
To conclude the visit, students enjoyed an immersive journey through the Solar System inside the Planetarium dome. This interactive experience allowed them to explore planets, moons, and distant celestial bodies in a dynamic and engaging way. Students eagerly asked questions about the Artemis II mission, astronauts, life on other planets, black holes, and many other exciting topics related to space exploration.
This incredible field trip brought classroom learning to life through exploration and discovery. Our students left the Planetarium feeling inspired and excited, with dreams of one day becoming scientists, astronauts, or even NASA engineers.
We encourage our entire school community to visit this amazing place, continue exploring the mysteries of space, and enjoy a true day among the stars!
