Our experience in the CAS science labs was amazing because we learned about diffusion and osmosis through fun experiments. By exposing potatoes to different solutions, we were able to see how these processes work in real life. This helped us understand the topics much better than just reading about them in class.
We also enjoyed working in the Media Center because it was a new and different place to learn. Being outside our regular classroom made the activities more exciting and interesting. During the experiments, we made predictions, observed changes, and wrote conclusions based on what we saw. This helped us develop our critical thinking and scientific skills.
One thing we learned is that science is all around us and is connected to our daily lives. The experiments showed us that the concepts we learn in class can explain things that happen in the real world. We also learned the importance of working together, sharing ideas, and learning from our mistakes.
